Flcin18 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 I have a 2014 1500 Silverado LTZ. Gauges are sticking. Found a new gauge cluster for my truck and am wondering if I need to have the mileage programmed into the new cluster when I have the VIN programmed into the new cluster.
LongrangeLauber Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Yes, all these new trucks have to have the Vin and mileage programmed
TJay74 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Yes, dealer has to marry the IPC or else you will hose the cluster and brick it.
b1gted Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Barely out of warranty and it is having cluster gauge issues? WOW. That sucks.
Flcin18 Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 When the new cluster gets programmed for the VIN and milage will the old cluster be dead and not work anymore. I am asking cause I was thinking about trying to fix it and sell it?
