AC Won't Blow on 5

My AC and heat won't blow on 5 setting on my 2002 2500HD. For some reason the vent on the drivers side closest to the window didn't seem to blow as much as the other 3 vents on the dash. So after some research I noticed that the blower not working on some settings was a pretty common problem with these trucks. I bought a new blower motor resistor and replaced it. The old one that came out looked exactly like the new one I was putting in. I kinda figured at this point that the previous owner had replaced it and gave up after it didn't fix the problem. Anyway I went ahead and replaced it and now I get more air out of the driver's side vent so it seems more even with other vents but still nothing when I turn it to 5. It just shuts off. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Check the fuse in the underhood block. I had the same issue on my 99 Silverado. Blower motor resistor did nothing for hi speed. Checked the fuses and found there wasn't even a fuse plugged in. Put one in and it works!

Do you remember which fuse it was by chance?

Nevermind I found it! The front HVAC fuse was missing. Plugged it in and it worked perfectly again. Thanks!
