LQ9 vin codes

I was looking around at 6.0 engine options and found that in 2006 the cadillac escalade and the tbss have different engine vin codes. To my understanding they should both be LQ9's. Are there any variations of that engine?

TBSS and Escalade have completely different engines. Escalade uses the LQ9 vin N engine. Iron block, aluminum heads. The TBSS uses the LS2 right out of the Corvette vin H. Aluminum block and heads.

Looking for Vin N, and not that easy to find. If you do, you pay a premium. It is netter to build up a LQ4

Yea, when I was looking for an LQ9 the only one I found has a little over 100k miles on it for $1600.
