Led headlights in 2015...don't kill me

Ok so I have gone thru the 10s of threads and hundred of pages of led, hid, halogen, tractor beams and death ray headlights.. I was thinking on upgrading my stock reflector low beams (h11)/with something brighter. I will keep my highs stock and my fogs maybe a silver star ultra. So on the lows I've read the reviews and upgrades on LEDs and brands and have come to a conclusion its a crap shoot. Meaning you have 50% say the LEDs suck while the others love the LEDs. I know hids are a no no in reflectors and my halogens have something to be desired. I'm curious on the superbrightleds, vleds, opt7, ect and what the led crowd has found as something suitable. My main wants are a more white look, better distance and a little more coverage. I know this has been beat to death and asked umpteen times... I'm just curious on you guys saying just get the ultras or zxe's or have a brand led that has worked great. Also wondering if mods are needed to the cups behind the headlights as I don't want openings to let water in the hl and ruin them. Again don't kill me. Thanks

Okay before this thread goes south on ya lol, I would wait a little while longer if you're dead set on led. Diode Dynamics has a led bulb they are coming out with soon that will be different from anything else out there. From what I've read, and seen this will blow every single led plug and play out of the water. It is also designed they say to go in a reflector housing. Beyond that I wouldn't waste my money on any of the others in your housing.

. Lol yea i dont wanna be that guy ...No not dead set on Leds. I don't need to light the night up to see the next town I just want a bit better output and a bit whiter color. So if the majority said get the ultras or zxe or whatever I would go that route. I was just curious as LEDs are only a bit more than say the zxe's in price I figured i d try my options. Are those new ones on their site to look at?

Either one of those two halogen options will give you a whiter light, but I'm not sure how much more output. The ones from Diode Dynamics I don't think are on the website yet. I just seen them on headlight junkies facebook group for the first time yesterday. They have doesn't optics, and placement along with being in a much smaller package. They are about the same size as a halogen which is nice.
