Leveling Kit ?

So I just purchased a 2016 Silverado LT Z71 4X4 Crew Cab. I have already installed 4" chrome step bars, and have on order a bed rug and roll-n-lock cover that will be installed tomorrow. I am also interested in installing a leveling kit to level the front with the back. This is purely cosmetic as I don't need or want bigger tires. (already got P275/55R20 All Terrain Tires) I just don't like the raked look. Here are my questions.

Any downside to doing this? (negative effects)

Which kit would you suggest and Why? (I was thinking rough country 2" level kit)

Any other suggestions, commits, experience, etc. are appreciated.

A search would have easily answered all those questions as it is probably the most common question on here (other than will this or will it fit tire wise).

Downsides, will cause faster wear of front end components and possibly void the warranty for things that are impacted by the leveling kit. IE ball joints, front end bushings, maybe CV axles; anything that can be impacted by the level.

They aren't much different. Top or bottom spacer. I wouldn't pay $200 for a hockey puck on top of my strut when there is the same from another manufacturer (you pay for the name in that case).

The higher you go the quicker the wear comes. Stay 2 inches or below. Going above really is hard on the front end. I am going 1.5, in the middle of will I notice it or be able to clear a larger tire and will my front end start making noises after 40k miles and I have to start replacing crap...

Just search, so much stuff has been answered you get a much more comprehensive answer looking at threads with tons of info than trying to ask a repeat question and only having a few answers which may or may not be correct.

Yeah I did search, did not find the post about the shocks the person above you mentioned so asking the question again worked. ;) But thanks for the info.

I've had my 2" RC for about 4k miles now. No issues. Drives just as smooth and looks awesome.

Thanks. I appreciate the response. That is what I am looking for same ride quality just level. :)
