My friend's band played live at a club here in town and they recorded them. Now I have the live cd they made but it is only like 4 tracks and each track has 2-4 songs on it. Does anyone know how I could split them up into there own tracks?

Thanks

It depends on how they are encoded, and what editing software you have.

Most CD burners (if you have one) come with some basic editors. Other (editors) can cost in the hundreds. One of these programs is what you want to use...Most of them aren't very intuitive though.

Or you can always just download one off of Kazaa...Thats right, there is more on Kazaa than music and porn....Pirated software.

I'm not really into editing music, so I really can't recommend a good one.

Hopefully this sheds a little light on your delimma though.

Right now they are still on the CD but I can rip them into mp3s. For CD burning I have Roxio Easy CD creator 5.

My friend actually got Windows XP professional off Kazaa.

You should be able to use Roxio to split them.

I have never used it, but as long as the files aren't protected (I doubt they are coming from the source you stated) you should be able to split them fairly easily.

If you can't figure it out. I'll try my luck at doing it. PM me if you need some help. I can't think of the software but I think I can find it somewhere to be able to do it. :D
