WTF?!? Loud Screetch!

Yesterday, I discovered that my front A/C seats started making a lfs grindig sound like an old rotary fan. A few minutes later, it statutes making this loud high pitched screeching sound. Need less to say I am trying to get ahold of the dealer and get it handled, I just didn't know if anyone else had this happen?

 

I actually took a video so the dealer wouldn't try to deny it.

The seats have caged blower fans in them to circulate air. Sounds like one going bad.

ah, thank you. any idea if that is an easy fix of if they have to replace my seat?

I am sure they will just change the blower. Might have to remove the seat from the vehicle to do it, but you are not getting a new seat.

 

They change seat covers, haptic motors, position motors and controls in them all the time without replacing the whole seat.
