My truck has a 2" level with the air dam and lower bumper removed for a total of 9" increased clearance. It is a 5.3, 6 spd with 3.08 gears and 275/65/18 AT tires. I recently drove 700 mi round trip from east central Indiana to Nashville, TN and averaged 19.7 mpg all interstate with speeds between 60-75 mph.

First day I owned the truck I was driving on the freeway and hit a clump of bricks and mortar that got tossed into my lane that I couldn't avoid . As in BANG.

When I pulled over to the side of the road, I expected the front to be tore up.

What I found was a little indent in the plastic piece in between the lower bumper. I mean little.

I got 25.5mpg stock and 24.5mpg on the same trip a summer apart after I removed the air dam and installed a 1.5in motofab front spacer and 265/70/18 (32.6x10.7) which is the same width just an inch taller than stock. I never got above 65 and it was through the back country of Missouri which is gently rolling hills. Trip from central MO to eastern TN during the summer with the ac on and cruising around 72 and sitting in traffic for over an hour with the engine running I got 20.3mpg for the trip. 5.3/6speed with 3.08s.
