How much discount on 2017

Well if you order a Truck then try to make a deal they kind of have you over a barrel.....

Not really since they do not require a deposit and you are not obligated to buy the truck. Mine that I ordered is still on the lot 6 weeks later, they are sitting on it not me.

7-8k sounds pretty good for a 17. With rebates you can get a 16 for quite a bit less though. I got around 14k off with no trade a couple of weeks ago. You just have to catch it when they have the right rebates in hand and want to move them.

While that's true, the 16s are starting to run thin, so he might not get the exact truck that he is looking for.

Laura GMC Dealership

Some people aren't even close to that dealership. Do people just use it as a reference to try and negotiate or how does that work??

I just saw a 2016 all terrain with that i have to have!!

You can try it and see if they will price match what they have in stock. If not, a lot of people fly in to buy what they want and drive it back. Laura GMC has really good reviews from what i've read but i have not bought from them.

Thanks for all the input..I have talk to my friend who is in the transport biz and he can bring me one from Illinois to SC for $450.So maybe I will play compare and see game. I have no obligation to this one , but it is the one I like.. Man, Laura does have alot of trucks..

So you wonder why they can't deal? You order a $55,000 Truck and then try to negotiate a price and if it is too high you say No and walk away. Now imagine if the guy before you did the same thing, they are now paying the interest on that Truck and can't come down on your price. Shame on their part though for not taking a deposit.....

You can use it as a reference, fly in and drive your new truck home, or have it shipped.

I'm currently looking at a 2016 Denali 6.2L in Kansas City because none of my local dealers have what I want, and if they have to get it they don't want to deal.

Laura has a Stone Blue 6.2L Denali I want, but it's got Jet Black interior.

saying a specific % is a bit misleading and intentionally so. I suggest whatever you do is to look at the dollar value of discount and not as a percent as it totally depends on trim and options.

even GMs adds that will claim 10% etc off will have fine print that says on a msrp of $54679 and has $5467 manufacturer credits so they can claim 10%. change one option though and it may go up or down.

Yes. You'll have to pay, but if the deal is good enough and/or you can't find the truck you want locally, it can be worth it.

Like you say if they have exactly what you want it's worth it.... I'll look and make my decision.

i would leery shipping a car i just bought without seeing it. seen too many things go wrong in transit but could be paranoid. as with any shipment you also need insurance for the value. I doubt a $400 charge would also cover you if the worst happened. quite common for shiping only to cover a certain amount, might be an extra cost.

Not trying to start an up roar, but dealer I ordered my truck from said," we'll order it just because, and if you dont take it, we will sell it"...

Just bought my wife a car off the west coast, had it shipped and no problems.. The freight cost does include insurance, always declare value, when you deal with a reputable trucking company there is always good cargo insurance...

I guess I must be out of the loop big time, I see where they are moving 20% off of 16's but not for the 17's yet.... So you are buying a loaded 17 truck of $60,000 and taking it $12,000 off... Haven't seen these going for $48,000 on Laura GMC website am I looking wrong? I'm leaning towards what Alpine truck life said in his post.. maybe 20% off of an all-star edition?
