Pros and Cons of each?

I notice that BDS year range is narrower 14-16 as to where Zone is from 07-16.

Also see that BDS has this note: "Due to a variation in the factory strut mount in earlier models, a minor change was made to the preload/bolt ring plate in order to get proper fitment on the 2014-16 models.

Unlike many other leveling kits, this engineered system will not max out the upper ball joint. Our leveling kit system is designed to ensure that all factory components work within their intended ranges".

Does that mean Zones would have an issue?

Thanks

BDS will be the superior lift, usually with a higher price. But their warranty is the best with a no-fine print warranty.

Zone is made by BDS, it's just their off-brand product that usually is cheaper.

And I actually think that Fox owns both of these companies...

Thank You. So it looks like the BDS kit is really the better option as far as fitment and overall superior level kit. Also like that it does not stress the ball joints.

Yep - I'd look at installing the Fox 2.0 Shocks in the front and rear too for the best all around ride.

Hope this helps.

Are they better then the Rancho Montubes that came with the truck as an upgraded option?

5x better, our stock Ranchos are terrible.

Bilstein makes comparable shocks with cheaper prices. King/Icon also makes shocks, but are a little pricier than Fox.

Really comes down to how much are you wanting to spend.

Could I just do this up front and pass on the leveling kit? http://www.4wheelparts.com/Suspension/Fox-Racing-Shox-2-0-Performance-Series-Coil-Over-IFP-Shock-Absorber-985-02-018.aspx?t_c=1&t_s=90&t_pt=3306&t_pn=FOX985-02-018#overview_Container

Yes, those coilovers give you about 2" lift in the front, which would do the same as a leveling kit, but ride better.

Read through this thread for some more info. Just make sure you know what UCA's you have when you order. That will be the deciding factor on your part number.
