Light bar switch housing 2015 silverado

Anybody that has a light bar or other similar lights I wanna see some pics of your housing of the switches in the interior. Looking to get some ideas for my light bar switch. Really don't want to have to cut anything.

i don't have a light bar (yet), but i just placed an order with oznium and included some rocker switches for future projects.

 

 

these will be able to go in the 'lighter plug' if i like

You can always use a wireless switch relay. They are around $20 on Amazon/Ebay and plug directly into most light bars that come wired with a plastic plug end (most light bars made in China). Most remotes also have a strobe function. I have one on my truck and one on my golf cart. You can also program your Homelink garage door opener to turn it on if your truck has that. I have an LT but I only have 3 switches right there? Is that a new board you have to swap out?

That was my original plan all along but after buying 3 different relays, not a single one worked for me. I'm not sure if my harness was incompatible or what.

Yep, Mine Came fully loaded. Wonder if I could use one of the blanks for a winch!

You need specific rpo codes or you have to rewire from fuse panel under hood to x61a in floor board. I did it in about 4 hours. Soldering 8 connections on both ends and running with factory harness. I can build a harness and send it with a write up if interested. Better be comfortable pulling connectors apart and some decent experience. I have pictures from when I did it but it's no simple plug and play. Not bad, but not for the faint of heart
