Homelink as Accessory switches?

Hi, Has anyone turn the 3 homelink buttons into switches for their accessories? Ex: Led light bars...

 

Is that possible?

I have been thinking about this as well. I bought a wireless relay switch that comes with a remote. I am hoping I can just program the Homelink with the remote that came with the wireless relay.
