Adding 1/2" top spacer. Already have RC 2" lower spacer

I currently have a RC 2” spacer on my truck but I am thinking about going a tad higher. I don’t want to go with a full 3” lift so I’m thinking about adding just the top ½” spacer from the 2.5” kit.

If I do this, do you think it’s possible that I can simply unbolt the top studs, loosen the bottom bolts and remove the swaybar end-link and slide the top spacer in? By doing that and pushing down on the lower control arm, will that give me enough space?

I had one heck of a time getting the bottom spacers in last time and I don’t really want to have to mess with that again. I’m thinking it should slide in no problem because it’s only a ¼” thick.

Can it be done?

With the right cheater bar it will be fairly simple. But there will be no sliding in of the top spacer. The upper strut studs are fixed, so you will need to remove the strut.

If I have to remove the strut, I'll have to remove the strut.

I was hoping I could simply remove the upper strut nuts, loose the upper ball joint, remove the swaybar end-link and use enough force to slip the top spacer in and then bolt everything back up.

Nah you won't be able to create enough room. It's very easy to remove the strut. I usually don't remove anything but the strut, but that may be difficult given the additional leveling kit.
