2013 2500 Suburban Towing Issue

I have a 2013 2500 Suburban w/6.0 Liter engine that I bought used about 18 months ago and have had issues with towing both a 12’ and a 24’ Floe enclosed snowmobile trailer that fully loaded does not even come close to the towing limits. The best description that I can provide is that it porpoises up and down when going over bumps and seems to have some sway side to side. I had a 2002 2500 Suburban and had none of these issues with the same trailers. So I replaced the factory shocks with Rancho RS9000 shocks with adjustable setting now set to 8 for both the front and rear. I also replaced the factory tires with BFG All Terrain TA2’s that are inflated to 65 and I still seem to have the same issues. Anyone else experience these types of issues? Any Ideas?

maybe change the location of the trailer weight center of gravity - possibly moving it more forward toward the hitch, so the trailer axle does not work like a teeter tooter see sawing up and down over road changes (?)

Sounds like you need more tongue weight and/or weight distribution hitch with load bars. Did your old Suburban have leaf springs and this one coils?
