I added the aluminum chevrolet tailgate applique and the "heavy duty" emblem off a ram 3500. I also removed the bodyside mouldings.

Very interesting.... I don't want to downplay all of the other things you did, cause they all look good, but I am really impressed on how good the chevrolet badge across the tailgate looks. It really does look like it came with the truck. Good job!!

Did it fit right up on the new body style tailgate or did you have to modify it? It doesn't look like any trimming was done.

I'm not sure about useing a ram tag on a Silverado. I do enjoy seeing how others like yourself detail their truck. It's an individual thing.

Yeah, our previous 3 Silverados had it. You can still get it,the base Chevys have the letters across the back.

Yes, It's still 2wd, but it can get out into my uncle's farm, and not get stuck, and come out completely covered in mud. Its going to get a SFA hopefully by Christmas, so then it will be 4x4, and probably a tad taller up front.
