Radio upgrade

Ok guys. My work truck is a new 2016 2500 gasser w/t.. tow mirrors and all but no damn blue tooth. Went to a local Chevy dealer and they had no answer as to how to get Bluetooth. Now the mic is there in headliner and all . 4.2 inch screen. I know they had blue tooth for the 4.2 .. so my thinking is a brain swap and vin program ? Am I correct .

 

Through the aux jack sucks as it won't interrupt am/FM.

I would just go aftermarket. It's amazing what a good stereo shop can do these days

Cost of that is over $500 with all the wires and radio and adaptors

you have to look at your RPO codes and see which radio you have the new RPO code IOB radio is not upgradable with a factory radio although IOB is a 7 inch screen, however your code more than likely IO4 which can be upgraded to IO6 that would give 8" touch screen, blue tooth, and nav cost aprrox $1,300 for everything
