2010 SIlverado oil sending switch,

I had an engine light come on the other day. I stopped at the Chevy garage and inquired , came up as a oil sensor switch fault.

The garage wanted 400.00 to replace it. I stopped at a local automotive store and purchased a new switch and filter screen. I swapped it out and the code never came back on till two days later. Thinking I might have purchased a faulty switch I bought another switch from another supplier in town. Swapped it out and again two days later the engine light come on... I seem to have good oil pressure... 38-40 lbs cold and warm idle is 25-30 lbs, sometimes it'll idle at 20 lbs or so . ???? at a loss..
