New 2016 2500

Bought a 2016 2500 HD 4x4 with the 6.0L. Before I had a 2004 F150, cam phasers went out at 270k so I sold her and got my new truck about a month ago.

Nice. Funny, My 04 f150 cam phasers went out at 70,000miles and a bunch of other crap. Love my 15 6.0- its been flawless after 33,000 hard work miles

Funny I just bought a new hd too and I also had a 05 f150 but mine got traded quickly before that noisy engine could fly apart. Ford refused to admit a gas engine should not sound like a diesel and called it normal. Loved my 2002 hd which is still in the driveway hope this one is as tough.

Another vote for white trucks. My 08 Dually Duramax was white too. In 8 years the paint on that truck was just as new looking as my 16 and that truck was parked outside the entire time. All I ever did was hand wash it a few times a year and put on a good wax once a year. What really sold me on white trucks is this simple test. Drive around any parking lot in poor light conditions and see what vehicles pop out at you. White ones. My wife's Mazda 3 is a white metallic which I love but not available on the HD trucks. I love the metallic white 1500 series.

I guess the only place you might not want a white vehicle is where the snow covers the ground several months a year.

Nice looking rig, love that big white CC Silverado. I can't believe that for many years I thought Ford made a better looking truck, and maybe they did.......but not any more. The over badged Superduty does not have the class of an HD Silverado , IMHO.

Thank you Rvduck. I've always been a Ford man myself but I also like Chevrolet. I looked at some 2017 F250 before I got this truck ,but I wasn't gonna pay 50,000+ for a basic gasser. Glad I found this truck 10,000 off sticker price.
