2016 silverado Z71 snow chains

What type of snow chains have you guys used? I know in the Manual it states that it is not recommended to use snow chains but I find it hard to believe that there isn't something out there that could be used. Please feel free to leave website links or recommendations of any type of chains that could be used thanks.

I think they try to discourage chains because of the damage they can cause if they come loose.

 

I would find a set of cables or chains, in the appropriate size, and fit them so you know they will clear.
