Hummer h2 brake running light out

GM-tech! I would love some insight. My hummer H2 driver side brake light and side marker don't light up during running lights. Brake light comes on when brake is pressed but no running light. I changed the bulb and checked the fuses. Any ideas!

I would start probing with a test light. And tracing wires to see where power is lost at. I would check at the light socket first and then move towards the front. Might be at the junction box where wiring splits off to the two tail lights

Like it or not your H2 is actually a Colorado. They have issues with the pig tails failing. look inside where the bulb goes and see it it looks burned.

 

If so you need to replace them. The newer ones GM put out are less prone to this.

 

I had a 2007 Colorado that had this issue.

The H3 is a Colorado. The H2 is a Suburban 2500

When I changed the bulb, it didn't look burnt or on wiring.
