Moisture in lower glovebox 2017 Crewcab

I've done some searching and couldn't find anything.

I bought a new 2017 All Terrain a few weeks ago and it was raining when I bought it.

Fast forward to now my registration comes in the mail and I put it in my glove box but when I pull the papers out of the box one piece of paper that's on the bottom is damp.

By damp I mean like a piece of paper in a humid environment would get.

I ran a garden hose on the truck all around the usual places (antenna, 3rd brake light, windshield). And cannot duplicate this.

Is this just a by product of the hvac or maybe The paper never fully dried from delivery or do I have a leak somewhere?

I haven't driven the truck in the last 10days and it's been parked with the front end a little lower than the rear.

Perhaps the Cabin air filter is damp from varying temperatures / humidities? Grasping at straws.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't even think about a cabin air filter, heck I didn't know these had one. I ran the heat for 20min with the AC button on to draw moisture out.

I don't need to drive the truck for a few weeks so I'll check it after we get another considerable amount of precipitation.

I thought about sealing the antenna before a problem exists but the service procedures say to NOT use sealant.

Anthony,

I haven't contacted the dealership yet, I will wait until we get a good amount of precipitation to check the glove box again. If I notice anything I will be in touch with them. They are the selling dealership so I shouldn't have any issues. If I need to escalate I will be in touch.
