Actually, I dont have one. I want to get a '03 M3 CSL. But, its only avalible in Europe I think.

But, actually Im trying to get some info about BMW factory training. I'ld like to work on BMW's, but the one and only dealer in Kansas City only hires from the factory training schools. I thought maybe someone on a BMW board might have gone to one of the factory schools and give me a little info on them.

Roadfly would be your best bet for getting an answer to something like that. Funny that your in KC, I grew up in Wichita, went to college in Emporia, then moved to Texas when I went to work for a KC based company.

If I remember right they are bringing a limited number of CSL's over here but they are all spoken for and went for over $100k each.

Here's a pic of the one I just sold....

I posted a message at both Roadfly and Bimmer forums. I dont know anything about the CSL's other then what I have read on BMW's site. But, I know it would be one sweat a$$ ride. Maybe I'll pick one up while Im in Switzerland this summer :cheers:

Thats sweat looking car you sold. Wish I had the money to even afford a 95-99 M3. Oh, well, maybe one day.

Thanks, for the sites. I really appreciate it. Thanks.

I'm the "big BMW fan" here! My main site is e30sport.com, but it's only for the 3 series (E30) between 1984-1991(and 92 convertibles). I second Roadfly, it's the best overall BMW board on the internet. I never really liked bimmerforums.com, it's flashy, but didn't seem to have much else.

BMW Schools? I checked into them and can tell you a good deal of info on them, what exactly would you like to know?

Your best bet of getting in would be to enter the best tech school near you and do your best. If BMW dosen't contact you directly, you could go to them with your info and if you've got the right stuff, they will put you in their training schools (proper name is "BMW STEP Program"). IF you complete it, your garanteed work for 3 years if you follow the rules.

I already graduated from Wyotech. But, I didnt have good enough grades to get into the Custom Training Groups schools. They had a BMW Step program. But, you had to have a 90% adverage. And I had a 88%.

What do you know about the factory BMW schools in Germany, Austria, and Great Britian?

Im going to the Baron BMW here in KC and Im going to apply for a job and see what they say.
