Rattle in roof

2010 Crew Cab. I'm having a rattle in the roof. It only occurs through 30-45mph. Once I get past that it goes away. And slower than that it does not come up unless I'm braking. It's not consistent but definitely persistent. It's noticeably loud.

If I hold my hand on the spot it will stop. But I can't feel anything. So it seems something is loose. The noise is right above drivers head at the cross beam section. But on the front side of the cross beam.

I checked the roof and it looks normal. The interior roof is in great condition. No rips or anything. Any ideas?

When I say not consistent, I mean when the noise occurs. The actual sound itself is very consistent with how it sounds. If that makes sense.

Probably the small fan right above the driver's head...looks like a small speaker cover about 1.5" in diameter, but it's actually the aspiration fan for the climate control system.

I see. Any way to pop that open without damaging it?

Found the answer to my question. The fan makes these buzzing noises when it gets clogged up. I'd post a link to instructions to replace but it's a rival forum. Not sure if that's frowned upon...

So turns out the fan was not the problem. I replaced it and the rattle still persists. Any ideas?
