Limited slip or regular synthetic?

Elcamino covered this very well. You do not need any additive. The fact that you put it in yours and all is well isn't a good test. Long term one never knows what will happen. Maybe nothing. The fact that Eaton does not recommend it is what one should go by.

 

AMSOIL's Severe Gear 75w-90 will work great. I have had it in my 02 since it had 10k miles on it.

Just completed the change on the 06 a few minutes ago. Didn't go too bad. There was a small amount of rust on the sealing surface, so hopefully the gasket will seal it and it will stay sealed. No leaks so far. Spare tire was rusted to its hanger thing, so that fought me a little. Also, the threads on one of the bolts got nicked a little, but a thread fixer tool smoothed them right out
