Theres a roar and vibration at low speeds while accelerating that goes away around 45mph.. id chalk it up to the at2 toyos but the moment you get off the gas only tire noise can be heard.. plus theres a slight vibration.. seems to be coming from drivetrain? is that possible? any other guesses? bringing back to shop so they can ride in it.. check it out..

i have a '17 sierra z71 crewcab shortbed with 6" fabtech performance kit with coilovers upront along with 20x10 sprockets and 3512.5 toyo open country at2s.

Thanks!

First of all he just said his tires are 35x12.5r20. So no they aren't 305/55r20. Guess again those are only ~33.5" tall. Simple google search bro it's 2017.

I did and i know its 33 i would like to know if a 6 inch lift will rub on 35s or if they can take some bumps if this guy runs 35 and he has no issues then i could assume that i would be good to take 33s through actuall mud and gravel and stuff. hense my question.

talk about thread jacking.. lol.. that info is in many places on this forum.. yes they rubbed.. needed trimming..

BACK ON TOPIC..

Shop said they used something to balance the tires so that way I wont ever have to balance them again.. never heard of this..after doing a litttle research I see a product called Equal.. Maybe thats what they used.. There are some complaints about noise.. maybe this is it??

https://www.google.com/search?q=truck+vibration+after+lift&spell=1&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjc3cjRpffRAhXK7YMKHcKXAyYQvwUIGSgA&biw=1920&bih=952

by ur logic everone in this form is retarted.

I think its u thats the fuktard there OP just fixed ur issue click the like above u can thank

Thx for trying to help but that's a generic posting.. if u read my posts and the site u linked it s obviously not those things.. I'm betting its like others have said, balancing, and the excess noise most likely bc of the life long balancing product they used

Im not sure of the product the shop used, trying to get ahold of them.. prob will bring truck back monday or just bring to another shop..

he just said Ill never have to balance my tires, for life.. I did a quick google search and theres a few companies that make products that are substitutes for the metal weights that go on the back side of the wheel.. I believe these are like BB's that go inside your tire.. ive heard of them making noise.. hopefully thats it.. equal flexx is a company that makes such a product..

anyone have experience with equal flexx or a similar type balancing product?

thanks

I've heard good things, just never used. I got new tires on my 1000rr and I just chose to use the lead stick on weights. Pretty popular in the motorcycle world for the Dynabeads.
