Need help, 2012 chevy silverado k1500. Ambient temperature sensor/swit

Alright. So i work at a body shop, due to damage i had to take the front end off of a 2012 chevy silverado k1500, its mostly reassembled but i have run into a small problem. I have a ambient temperature sensor/switch that needs to be clipped onto something, googling the item just leads me to replacements. I know its functional. Im just not sure where it needs to be. Cannot find diagrams or videos anywhere. Even the software we use doesnt really give an exact location. I believe i am missing a bracket that either bolts or snaps onto the crossbar thats directly infront of the radiator/condenser. Need some help. A picture of diagram would be fantastic.
