clear corners

I have a 2002 Sierra Z71 I'd like to have clear corners on my headlights. You can buy those APC clear corner lights but the headlights will still have the orange reflectors on them. I have seen that many people remove those. How do I go about doing that?? Thanks for the help.

I helped my buddy take out his reflectors on his 01 Sierra. We used a heat gun (or blowdryer) and 2 screwdrivers to pry open the lights. We then pried out the reflectors. They're a little tricky to get out but use the heat gun and it should make it a lot easier. We then sealed it back up with some plastic epoxy (where the two ingredients mix when you use the stuff) we picked up at the local auto parts store. They look good and they are waterproof. Of course, you could always spend a crap load of money and buy the clear headlights that APC offers, but why do that?

apc headlights are crap, along with everything else they make along with their stickers that ppl use on cars with no apc product at all

 

 

anyways the best and cheapest way is to do it yourself, theres a member named loki that has a manual on his website that shows you how to do it.
