3192 lbs for truck camper on the glovebox sticker, 4024 lbs payload on the B-pillar sticker. It carries a 4,000+ lb truck camper as well as can be expected for a SRW truck.

 

WoW! Almost 3 times that of a 2500 SRW..

The answer is simple one truck has a short box the other a long box. They don't recommend putting an 8' camper in a 6.5' or smaller box.
