2015 GMC Sierra 1500

Hey guys I'm new to the forum I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 and I'm towing a 33 ft camper that weighs 6500lbs empty. I'm thinking about doing a gear swap to a 3.73 or a 4.10. Just looking for opinions on what size to go with and brands. Also mind you I'm planning on lifting the truck 3 inches and putting 33" tires on it and hopefully having it black bear tuned. Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated!!!

You will definitely need some air bags out back yo help with the young weight. I would put the biggest transmission cooler you can find on it as well.

 

I would find a good gear calculator online and play around with the gearing and the tire size.

 

Personal opinion, I would never pull a trailer that big with a half ton especially a lifted one. You are going to be fighting a lot of physics.

Ya it definitely works it with the stock gears even in tow haul mode. Thanks for the advice I'll have too look up one of those calculators.

You should do a truck swap and get a heavy duty dude
