Pics of my new wheels/tires

Well, I got new wheels and tires for my truck. Tell me what you think.

 

 

They are 265/75/R16 goodyear wrangler mt/rs mounted on a set of 16x6.5" aluminum rims off of a new chevy HD.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The dang plow hitch caused me to get stuck, but luckily I was able to get the truck out after about 30 minutes (didn't get a pic of where I was stuck). The fun part is getting to clean off all of the mud

 

I decided to take the plow hitch off. What a pain...I had to take the front bumper and grille off to get to it, and I broke a few bolt heads in the process. I will be replacing them with stainless bolts I also bought a pair of OEM tow hooks for it that I just mouted.

Be careful about using stainless hardware on the plow undercarriage, stainless is not as strong as G8, you don't want any of the bolts to break while you are plowing at 1:00am and its 5° outside....

I went wheelin at this little place off of the river. It's just a little pull off from the road that people drive through

 

I went looking for stainless and couldn't find the right sizes anyway, so I got grade 8. Thanks for the tip though.

$168 per tire plus tax and mounting.

 

I special ordered them from wal-mart. The goodyear dealer wanted $200 and they didn't have them in stock either. They only charged $10 per tire to mount, and it includes tire stems and lifetime balancing/rotating. I was very pleased with their service. They were more helpful then any other tire dealer i've gone to.

Looks like you need to replace one of your parking/turn signal lights while you are replacing those bolts

I'm not sure what's wrong with the parking light/turn signal on that side. I replaced the bulb, bit it still doesn't work properly. The turn signal part works, but no parking light. It drives me crazy Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it?
