Keithm Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Is there any place to find every little detail about my truck specifically? Like punch in the vin and it lists every thing? I'm looking for my oem offset/backspacing, oem rear block type etc. Thinking about going my own route for lift. Thanks
newdude Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Backspacing can be found from the wheels via a GM parts catalog. The GM HD wheels use a 44mm offset. As for the blocks, crawl under the truck.
Keithm Posted March 15, 2017 Author Posted March 15, 2017 I suck at google sorry. Wasn't using the words parts catalog. There's a foot of snow so I was trying to save myself from getting soaked while I look around at everything. Thank you!
Andy Seibel Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 send a PM to GM Customer Service include your VIN and e-mail and they can send you a build sheet. Not sure if that would answer your specific question, but it will tell you every option that was on your truck when it rolled off the line.
Keithm Posted March 15, 2017 Author Posted March 15, 2017 That's exactly what I'm looking for, thank you!

Andy Seibel Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 didnt know this! thanks for sharing! no problem. just passing along info I got from others on this thread. this was the only way I could find out the build date and location of my baby. (12/16/2014, Silao Mexico)
Keithm Posted March 15, 2017 Author Posted March 15, 2017 I tried contacting her via pm, it gave me an error message and said it couldn't send. I was logged in properly and everything. So I called the dealer and he said it's easiest to fax it to me. Gonna call tomorrow from work.
Keithm Posted March 16, 2017 Author Posted March 16, 2017 Update: Called first thing this morning, had the build sheet in my hands 10 mins later. Apparently service is more than willing to acquire them for us, just give them a call
Big Whiskey Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 If you're truck is a 2016 Midnight HD, then your rims are 18" x 8" with +44mm offset...and the HD's don't have rear blocks from the factory.
Kyleb100 Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 You can also look up the RPO codes that are in the glove box on the sticker. Just google your trucks year, model, and include RPO in the search. Build sheet is probably more thorough though, just thought I would mention this for anyone searching the forum in the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
