Is there a way hot wire on star

Now that on star offers unlimited wifi I'm going to ditch XM radio and stream music instead. My question is there a way to power the wifi with out the truck running since there is no way to do it with out the fuel pump running. I would put a switch on it but was just wondering.

Following - my use case is slightly different, but I'm looking for the same ability. Would love it if it could be something with a switch, but my fear is it could be a BCM software mod.... :(

The WiFi is internal to the Onstar module. Onstar is powered with a B+ and turned on and of via data lines and internal software.
