LED issues

Hey everyone, new here, I have a 2005 Silverado 2500hd. I installed LED headlights, turn signals, and driving lights. I just recently bought LED tail lights and the passenger side is giving me trouble. (With my lights on) if I plug the tail light it it works, then when I plug the turn signal in, the tail light goes out and vise versa. Do I need a load resister? And on which light(s) would I put them on. Thanks

For the turn signals you'll need resistors for each bulb. I'm not sure the colors for the 05 but it's the major and ground wires. Normally the outer wires. The minor is normally the middle wire which is the tail lights. Those don't resistors

Instead of resistors, which aren't that small (I did this on my truck, and the resistors are about 1/2" by 1/2" by 2", and you need to mount them somewhere that can get hot, as they will get hot when used for some time), you might consider to just get a new flasher relay that works with led's instead.
