Hid light color

I have the morimoto xb led lights installed in my 14 sierra and just got my morimoto hid headlights in the mail. I accidentally ordered 4500k instead of 5500k. I've watched videos and seen pictures and not sure I see a major color difference. I know 4500k supposed to have more "useable" light and more warm white than 5500k pure white. My biggest fear is will the 4500k look way off color looking at the truck against the 5500k xb led fogs? I can exchange them at the cost of shipping and hassle but not sure it's worth it.

It will have a slightly more yellow tinge as opposed to pure white. Every brand is slightly different so you could notice a big difference or none at all

Just order the 5500k bulbs and be done with it.

5500 will also have a slight blue/violet tint...if that's what you're looking for.

Yes, there will be a slight color difference. I have the 6500K bulbs in a 55W kit and it washes out to be a little softer white than the XB fog lights. Closest match to the XB fog lights per The Retrofit Source is going to be the 35W HID kit with 5500K bulbs or the 55W HID kit with the 6500K bulbs.
