2016 Silverado. Amber "Bullet" style LED's for mirrors?

I'm looking to install some type of additional blinker light to my side mirrors.

Was thinking of just doing one LED bullet style design on the far outside trim of each mirror.

Wanted to know if the wiring to add these mirror "blinkers" is already in the door ( being that most manufactures use the same harness on same truck model). Or will i have to run each LED light to a fuse through the door trim?

 

Was thinking of using something like this...

Yeah I say do it.. i also wanted to add an amber blinker to my tow mirrors when I first got the truck.. long story short....

For 2016, unless you're a WT, you should have Turn Signal circuits in the door connector. I can make you a wire that you can land into your X500 connector with a pre-terminated end on it. That way you don't have to fish it though the boot. This is the last connector in your door harness that mates in the hinge.
