Help make this easy....

So I am looking into rims and tires for my stock 15 sierra 4x4. What sizes can I fit that are bigger than my stock 265-70-17? There are so many numbers etc it's just mind boggling.... I don't want to go huge just want to know the next couple options. How do I figure this out? Thanks
