I just ordered my PCM from Westers. I am about excited as a kid at Christmas. I had a nice chat with Lyndon. He fully answered all my questions and concerns, A hell of a knowledgeable guy! It sounds like the things he can do is endless with these PCMs . The best part is, you don't like it, he will make it right. Service with a smile!

Sounds Great!!! I'm curious as to how you think it improves your truck... other buyers seem pretty impressed.

There is a GP at pickuptruck.com for members for 20% off till the end of July. It may be across the board, I don't know. I had the best of intentions of getting a GP set up through this site but I have been really busy the past couple of weeks and I am going on vacation next week. Sorry I kinda dropped the ball on this one! Maybe I'll try to get it set up when I return from my vacation.

Just do it Shaners. You know you want to. You and I are a lot alike in that we really like to study something before we do it. In the last 6 months, I've done more mods to my truck than in the whole 2 years I owned my previous truck. The reason is simple... When you're dead, your dead a long time.

I'm really glad I've gotten the Wester's. You will be too.

Does the Westers make a difference when towing? And did you have it tuned for 93 Octane?

I have a few more concerns before ordering... but I think it sounds better than the "predator" programmer. I also have a buddy with a 8.1L Avalanche that desperatly needs a PCM like this...

Shaners... It did make a difference towing. It feels much stronger and doesn't downshift as often as it used to. In fact, after I got the larger tires but before I got the Wester's, I was REALLY disappointed in the way my truck towed. I'm glad I only did it that one weekend.

I still use 87 octane. Lyndon told me there would be no need to use anything else and that higher octane might actually harm your performance.

I know that it's expensive and that you have your doubts. You probably also have other things to spend your money on like a mortgage, kids, etc. Give Lyndon a call and talk to him, he'll put you at ease. And, you have 35 days to change your mind if you don't like it.
