2014 Z71 Exhaust

I am trying to make my truck as loud as possible for as cheap and easy as possible. I have heard something about simply putting a flowmaster super 10 on or something along those lines in place of the stock exhaust with a tip will work in making it loud but does anyone know for sure if this will make it loud or do I need to do more than this or is this what it takes???

Here's mine. Buddy of mine has a super 10 and mine is by far louder.

 

 

 

Cold Start:

 

I had the muffler shop cut off my muffler and everything behind it. Installed an 18" long Glasspack, Y-pipe, and duals to 4" tips. They really aid in deepening the tone of the truck while still keeping it loud. $300 installed.

I have a 2015 Z71 and I put the super 10 series on about a month ago and I absolutely love it! Its definitely louder but if you want something that's going to set car alarms off when you rev you're going to have to do more. I got mine dumped right before the rear axle which gave it a bit more resonance. You will definitely notice it more in the cab which in my opinion is the most important aspect. I didn't want the cab noise to be too overpowering to where you couldn't have a conversation with the person riding with you. For me it was more about better sound quality than overall loudness. Plus I think it's the cheapest thing I've done to my truck so far, only cost me $150 installed.
