sPOD Mounting Locations

I've searched the forum and seen some various pictures and references to mounting an sPOD setup for switches in the Sierra, but I'm hoping that someone who's done it can provide some more detailed picutres and narrative. Has anybody out there mounted the sPOD somewhere other than in the sunglass holder? If so, can I see some pics and exactly how you mounted it? Really interested in this option!

If you have the special edition you can get a suction cup ram mount and attach to front windshield. I ran the cable through the grommet in the driver door and up dash. Really easy and clean. It can also be removed in seconds without and holes being left behind.

 

If you're talking about the actual source under the hood. I first had it mounted where the spare battery tray is. Had to make a bracket but theres lots of space. Recently, I moved it and mounted on the factory fuse box cover. Its tight with the brace bar above but I know have room to add a dual battery setup.
