Getting the Rear rotor off??

Recommended Posts

I went by the book and afetr removing the tire and lug-nuts, I cleaned the brake system. Then removed the caliper braket bolts, and rotated the caliper out of the way. Clipped off the spring washers. Now technically the rotor should slide right off. But no can do. There seems to be a bushing of some sort located between the rotor and the wheel shaft. It gets cocked to one side or the other, preventing the rotor to be removed. I did not see any mention of this comonent anywhere in the Haynes manual. What is this part?

Any idea on how to do this? Did I miss a step?
