DaveK Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 Just bought a new 03 1500HD. Living up here in the north with a lot of salt in the winter, the chrome on the bumpers take a beating. I remember years ago seeing cars and trucks with something coating them that resembled a watered down tar coating - it always looked like it was just painted on. Does anyone know of a product, or a home brewed method to protect the chrome and aluminum wheels like this?
MarkD Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 We just use the turtle wax chrome polish. And keep the back clean.
