AC Condenser "National Back Order" wait time

I just got mine done today w a new GM condenser so they are coming out now. I was number 3 at this dealership in the last few days

Any chance there will be a recall to correct this issue? Or since it's not a safety thing are we all screwed?

 

I don't have it yet, but from the sounds of it every 2014+ out there is a ticking time bomb.

My service writer (head writer) said word of mouth is GM is not going to recall but will have a special bulltin and if people have this issue they will fix in the future. But it isent a 100% sure thing.

Letter is valid.  Called number and have recieve three phones calls back.  My only concern it has been two weeks in the shop and this is July 8, 2019 not 2017.
