Wire harness hanging - 2015 Silverado

Hi

Came out this morning and had a 1 foot wire harness hanging underneath the center of the truck. It has a plug on one end and cannot see anywhere it would plug in.

Any help?

You used to have 4WD. You don't anymore...

Are you joking around or being serious?

I engaged awd and 4wd and heard it engage and drove with it without it throwing an error. I assume it was working because truck sounds different when it is on. No real way to check it otherwise

Hey no worries! I didn't know I had a plug that leads to nowhere til I saw that other post.

The black end is a blank terminator to provide a water seal, just like the one for the bed lights in the rear, or some option that is not installed.
