K2XX Wheel Nuts

Does GM use the same wheel nuts to retain steel wheels as it does the alum' wheels? Just curious if there is a different taper where the nut contacts the wheel. Truck in question is a 2500HD. I'll be putting together a set of winter rims & tires this fall.
