Finally got a toolbox

I picked this tool box up today for $180, after a good polishing and a wash it cleaned up pretty well. I have heard of Camlocker before but never seen one in my area needless to say I am impressed with the build quality.ecbac7d9585812e0f5756d1c3e5ab083.jpg62040666dc5deca863283447271ffb05.jpg2dbba52e1340c06904247bc2b6e860ab.jpgeb3f319cc31931b66ff422202391ddbf.jpg

No my understanding is that is the way it came from the factory.

Looks nice, but personally not a fan of the carpet. I don't get a toolbox to look nice, it's to hold a bunch of tools, chains, straps and so on. It's much easier to clean up liquid with a metal bottom than carpet. I also never had a low pro, mainly because I literally need a normal height box to hold everything. A low pro wouldn't hold everything. I probably will end up having to buy a bigger (front to rear) box sooner or later, like a Weatherguard. The lock does seem a lot better than the one on my UWS.

But, as long as you like it and it's want you want.

I have a 28in weatherguard. They are never big enough!

Also op box looks very nice carpet is probably a nice touch for most uses like the reinforced boxes lid and build in tie downs points.

It is less like carpet and more of a heavy felt, I am not 100% sure how much I like it but for what I paid I cannot complain
