What's up guys. Got T Boned on Thursday. It's at the body shop now. Insurance company is coming out tomorrow. You guys think it's totaled? Guy got me at the frame rail too.

I wouldn't trust that frame.

The structural integrity of the vehicle can be fixed but the chances of your insurance company to be will to pay out as much as the body shop will need is unlikely.

 

If it's going to be over 20 grand I bet they will write it off.

 

Also have to consider what got shifted, if the engine moved from its original position there could be more to fix then what you see.

 

How are you after the crash?

After you get in a car crash that you aren't at fault for the other persons insurance will cover for a bunch of benefits.

 

My parents got a orthopedic mattress for no cost. Their insurance covered it under cost of damages

 

I would get checked out, my grandmother got in a crash and said she was fine about 3 days later they found that she had Traumatic injury of the bladder.

Truck took the hit well, but even if Jesus ran a body shop, even after a good hit it will never be the same. You can replace bits, but metal stretches

Depends on year, and value. If it is 2014+ and only has that body work and replacing a frame, it won't be totaled. I hit a pole in a 2014 and had to have the frame replaced and it wasn't totaled. Best of luck.

I actually am happy only because I still owe on it. Have over a year of payments into her and really didn't want to start over.
