CV Joint?

Hearing/feeling a thump thump thump when driving and turning right. With the truck off, left side jacked up, I can hear a slight ticking/clicking when I rotate the tire. Everything feels tight however.

 

Sounding like a bad CV joint??

Next check would be when you grab the CV shaft, see if you can move it without the wheel moving to see how much play is in the u joints.

It seems tight, no movement I can feel. This was with the wheel jacked up off the ground, if that matters.

I did the wheel bearing a few years ago. Not saying its not it, but I would hope its not so soon.
