2006 with the LT2 package.

As said,,

This issue is intermittent.

I may go 3 days without the issue.

Generally, I'll start driving, and after a time, the Ac will cease blowing cold air, and start blowing vent.

Compressor is cycling, not leaking, freon level is fine, cold line is 64deg,hot line is 115deg.

Belt isn't slipping.

I replaced the resistor under the kick panel a few yrs ago, when the fan speed started acting up.

Also, my truck has the "climate control" system.

Thinking the hvac control panel itself may be bad?

Either control panel or a weak/malfunctioning blend door(s) is my guess

I normally avoid the dealer/repair shops, but I think they do have a time and place. In this situation, your dealing with electronics. It might be worth getting a dealership diagnostic. The dealer will know your A/C system better than any other repair shop would. As long as they agree to not exceed one hour of labor, and they guarantee that they will find the problem or not charge you anything, then it's worth it. You might have to call several dealers before you find the one that will work with you. Buy what ever parts you need from eBay, and your good to go.

That's the thing,

For the price of just 1hr of dealer labor, I could replace just about anything it possibly could be.

Dealers priced themselves out of my business a long time ago.

Basically, if it's not a warranty issue, the dealer dosent touch my vehicles.
