Do I need wheel spacers ?

I have a 2017 Sierra SLE with the Elevation package.

I will be getting a BDS 6 inch lift at the end of the month. I'm running 20x10 Rockstar II wheels in the warmer months and will be running the factory 20" black Elevation wheels with BFG K02's for the winter.

I read somewhere that with the BDS lift, the factory 20" rims will need a wheel spacer to avoid any rubbing.

The tire size of the BFG's are 275/55/20.

If I do need a spacer how thick of one do I need ?

Should I just install a Bora 1.5" spacer just to be safe?

Depending on your setup, spacers can increase the tire rub. If you do install spacers, I highly recommend that you make sure you know exactly what your doing before you install them. Don't just bolt it up and call it a day. Know what your doing. They can be dangerous if installed incorrectly, and are illegal in many areas because of careless use.

I just installed 1.5" spacers on the rear of my '16 Silverado Z92 Off Road the other day because I was 3" wider on the front due to the 6" lift put on by American Luxury Coach. There were 2 retainer clips that needed to come off so the spacers were flush and the ends of the lugs (about 1/16) had to be cut off in order for my Mayhem Metal Warrior wheels to then be flush. I'm going to take em back apart this weekend to inspect and retorque.
