Hello there i have a really frustrating drivers power seat issue i can't get the seatbellt tensioner recall done cause the power seat don't work. I switched the seat module that didn't work fuses are fine so then switch out the seat switches and that didn't work. I think there is power going to the module cause the heated seat function works and the airbag works. It sucks the dealer couldn't even figure it out. It cost $200 for the control module and $100 for the switches it's bull shit

Hey Dave, I wouldn’t count out a power problem. I don’t believe the power for the heat powers the motors. Could be a fuse problem, but if the dealer couldn’t find that... hmmmm..

This is normally covered under the 3/36 warranty. I assume this has expired?

mine was having issues with the lumbar not working,  then i removed the aftermarket throttle enhancer , and removed poorly installed  hot lead for 3rd brake light, installed by the camper shell dealer. after this my seat issue cleared up, check under your dash that no goofy wiring was added to the truck

Thanks, mine was stolen, I hooked up everywire back into place, I can move the seat with a scanner, but not with the buttons, already tried the module and buttons from another seat and no luck 😖, may need to go to the deale, if anybody got theirs fixed please post up solution

if you can operate with scanner, then you probably have a damaged harness, or switches

Thought about that, if wire problem I would assume that not even with the scan tool it would move, switches I tried a set of good ones and no luck either
